Spyder Baby - Let Us Prey

spyder babayListening to this is like travelling through time and space back into the 90s. Our younger readers might not know this but the 90s were a time when Marylin Manson was considered the scariest guy in music business. Listening to him could really upset teachers, parents and the like. Funny, eh? And then there were Murder Dolls and Orgy and Slipknot and similar bands that even the jocks at my school loved for their alleged shock potential. Now if you happen to miss this style and if your idea of “kickass!!” music are heavy riffs, distorted vocals and keyboards, all delivered by one guy who looks like he played in Manson’s background band: go pick this up. Apparently Ministry’s Al Jourgensen lent a hand to produce this album so someone’s gotta like it.
